Maria Del Mar Ojeda brings a strong academic foundation and a deep passion for patient care to her role as an audiology assistant at HearWell Center. A graduate of California University of Pennsylvania (now PennWest), Maria earned her bachelor’s degree in science with a major in communication sciences and disorders, as well as minors in psychology and deaf studies. She also completed training through the Hearing Aid Academy and is currently working toward her audiology assistant license in Pennsylvania.
Originally from Cali, Colombia, Maria moved to the U.S. on a tennis scholarship. She worked on her university’s campus assisting the communication sciences and disorders faculty and campus police, gaining valuable experience in both clinical and administrative settings. She joined the HearWell Center team with the goal of becoming an audiologist and plans to apply to graduate schools for fall 2026 enrollment.
Maria is fluent in both Spanish and English and is proud to help ensure every patient receives compassionate, customized hearing care. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, cooking, playing tennis, and scuba diving with her family.
