HearWell Center welcomed a new staff member in May. Matthew Goodrich works full time as an audiology assistant. He spends his time at HearWell Center making sure that Dr. Yoder is fully supported, and patients receive the best possible care. You’ll see him throughout the office helping with the clinic work as well as reception. Matthew is a recent graduate of the University of Pittsburgh Communication Science and Disorders program where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree. Prior to working at HearWell Center, he worked in assistive living supporting the dinning program. Matthew likes to share that his is an Eagle Scout, grew up in the snack food capital of the world, Hanover, PA, enjoys playing board games, making puzzles, playing basketball, and watching tv. He has been to 16 states and will be going to 7 more this summer and he currently has a 9-month-old Golden Retriever.
HearWell Center was established in 2007. As many of you know, it is a small family business started from scratch with zero patients when we opened our doors. Thankfully from word of mouth referrals and the support of the community we have seen over 2000 patients. As a small business, much of the work is managed by myself and my husband Phil. As you can imagine, that can be a big task with such a fast growing practice. Over the years we added employees but never had a hands-on assistant until now. Matthew is our first assistant and we are very thankful to have his help around the office. He has only been with us a short time and I already wonder how we were functioning without him.
When you visit our office please say join us in welcoming him aboard!
