Dr. Suzanne Yoder and her staff are very kind and competent. One small fact illustrates the care devoted to details. I appreciate the fact that when I am on the phone with them, they speak slowly and clearly. I have never had to ask any one of the staff to repeat themselves.
"Thorough, patient, passionate and simply excellent". Bout' all I can say regarding my working with Dr. Yoder as a patient. Never hesitate to visit.
I have been very satisfied with Dr. Yoder’s expertise in enabling me to hear better by skillfully adjusting my hearing aids. I purchased my aids from an ENT medical practice that specializes in hearing. After two and a half years of working with them making adjustments to my aids, I was not satisfied. The adjustments were very subjective. It seemed like I was going around in circles in a hit-or-miss process. I sought out an independent audiologist who had the ability to make the adjustment process more empirical. Dr. Yoder met the challenge in a very short period of time. She is highly professional, caring, detailed, and understanding of someone with a hearing loss. Dr. Yoder’s performance —coupled with her state-of-the-art equipment and caring staff — supports me in recommending her highly as your audiologist.
Dr. Yoder has helped me and my hearing tremendously. This will tell you how much I trust, respect and appreciate the HearWell Center: Even though I have moved from Allegheny County, I still commute more than an hour to see Dr. Yoder rather than go to any other audiologist. She demonstrates superior knowledge of audiology and is up on all the latest technological advancements. Additionally, she is extremely compassionate and really understands the challenges and difficulties facing the hearing impaired. Whenever I have needed Dr. Yoder in an emergency, she has always responded quickly and seem me as soon as possible. Dr. Yoder and Phil are the consummate professionals and they provide excellent service at a very economical cost. I would recommend the HearWell Center to everyone in need of any audiology services.
I have been a client of HearWell Center for many years and have been pleased with their client treatment in every respect. I owned a successful business for over 30 years so I have a good understanding of what customer service is about. Dr. Yoder and her staff make you feel right at home from the moment you enter their office and they listen carefully as you explain your hearing problems. They care about you and about your treatment and more importantly they care that you’re successful in a resolution that makes your hearing difficulties a thing of the past using state of the art testing equipment. If you look carefully you’ll see that Dr. Yoder wears hearing aids and has for many years so she knows what a hearing loss is like. She also donates time to local hearing loss associations. She and her staff are primarily interested in making your hearing better, not just selling expensive hearing aids. Thank You.
Thank you for the great explanations of my hearing situation and the wonderful new earpiece you made for me. As you know, I had heard about your practice through a person in our office after having been told by many, principally by my wife and children, that I should see an audiologist because I wasn’t a very good listener. Thankfully, your excellent evaluation confirmed that, though I might have incurred some damage, perhaps as a result of working near heavy equipment without protection, it was not serious enough to warrant a hearing aid. But, what I really appreciated was your explanation of the nature of the damage to make clear why certain types of sounds seemed too loud or too soft at times. I also am thankful for your recognizing the difficulty of keeping my telephone earpeice in my ear. None of the ones I’d purchased fit very well. The custom earpiece with which you fitted me works perfectly and allows me to hear better without worrying that it will fall off my ear at any time. It was a perfect solution to a common problem and I recommend it to anyone who regularly uses earbuds or other forms of headsets. Thank you for your professionalism and concern for my personal well being.
I had the pleasure of collaborating with Dr. Yoder during an extended strategic planning session sponsored by the Academy of Doctors of Audiology. This session addressed the future of the audiology profession and audiology education. Dr. Yoder was an active contributor who was able to think creatively and logically. She is a bright young woman and professional, and I would recommend her as a professional service provider unconditionally.
To anyone who is looking for an audiologist: Doctor Suzanne Yoder is the most knowledgeable, compassionate and caring audiologist that you will find. Her dedication to giving her patients the best treatment available, along with her knowledge of the latest technology makes her the best audiologist that I have found.
If you are already a patient of Dr. Yoder, you already know this.
Suzanne did the impossible!! She was able to get my Mother to not only purchase hearing aids but to wear them. Suzanne is a top-notch professional who combines expertise with a personal touch. She was not only caring to my Mom during her provision of service, but to the whole family. Even though my Mom suffers from dementia, she still remembers Suzanne and her working with her from well over a year ago. I recommend her highly. She is extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
This was my first experience with an Audiologist and I can honestly say I could not have found any one more caring, compassionate and professional. I was very impressed with the state of the art equipment and the time she took with me.
From the time I walked into the office I was immediately put at ease. She made something that could have been a really negative experience into a super positive one.
Dr. Yoder is one of the few professionals I have encountered that actually takes the time to talk to you and really cares. She is extremely dedicated and committed to her patients. She has gone above and beyond what I feel any other Dr. would have.
I would very highly recommend Dr. Yoder to anyone that is looking for an outstanding Audiologist.

Even though I knew I was missing parts of conversations when people’s voices were soft, I refused to admit I had a hearing loss.
After a thorough exam by Dr. Suzanne Yoder with her state of the art equipment, she informed me – and showed me with a detailed printout – that I had mild to moderate hearing loss in both ears. When she suggested hearing aids, my initial reaction was NO! I wasn’t even 60 yet!
When Dr. Yoder later contacted me about trying out Audeo (similar to hearing aids) for a few weeks – no obligation – I decided to give them a try. It took a few weeks for my brain to adjust, but now I love them! I can’t believe how much I was missing and how much more relaxed I feel not straining to hear every word someone says.
Thanks Dr. Yoder!

As a parent of two small children with recurring ear problems I was very concerned about my children’s hearing. I contacted Dr. S. Yoder to see if I could consult with her in her office at HearWell Center in Forest Hills. What delighted me most when I first called her office to make an appointment is that Dr. Yoder called me back within a few hours to further inquire about my concerns and assess her ability to help me and my children. She listened and quickly made herself available to see both of them. I loved the fact that her office is conveniently located off a major highway, parking is free and readily available and her office is easily accessible and safe. Our first meeting was extremely constructive, my children felt comfortable with her and the surroundings. I would highly recommend Dr. Yoder for all of your audiological needs.
My husband had gone to another hearing doctor for years. He had purchased 3 sets of hearing aids in the last ten years but when we went places together I knew by how he acted the he was not hearing well at all with them. Our television was still turned up too loud as well. Dr. Yoder has worn hearing aids since she was very young and is very interested in helping people with hearing problems. She spent a lot of time with my husband to understand his hearing needs.
My husband has been in the wrong hearing aids for years, but his new hearing aids from HearWell Center are just unreal! On the first day (of wearing the new hearing aids) riding home with my brother and sister-in-law we noticed that my husband could hear us. We all went to lunch and my husband could hear what we were saying and he even joined in the conversation. When we got home we had the windows down and he heard the kids talking on the street, which he had never heard before.
Now I can talk to him from other rooms in the house and he can hear me. The best is that we have a six year old granddaughter and she was so happy that my husband could hear everything she said. She could now play board games with him and it is wonderful.
Suzanne is an extremely dedicated professional who is committed to providing superior services in the area of hearing assessment, diagnosis and treatment. She utilizes state-of-the-art, precision hearing testing equipment that provides her with accurate, consistent test results. This allows her to provide her patients with the best audiologic care possible.
Dr. Yoder created two sets of custom-fitted earphones for me. Throughout the process she was very informative about my options and also made me feel at ease about the mold-taking procedure. Suzanne is so warm, friendly and professional. I immediately trusted her and knew I was in good hands. Also, the HearWell Center is a very clean, modern and comfortable office. I would highly recommend Dr. Yoder and HearWell to anyone.
Almost five years ago, I was talking to my next door neighbor whose son wears two hearing aids. I was telling her about my previous experience with an audiologist and a hearing aid that I got from her. It never seemed to help me. My neighbor told me about Dr. Yoder. I made an appointment with Hear Well. I was very impressed with Dr. Yoder’s credentials and her presentation. I ended up buying two hearing aids from her and they have helped my hearing immensely. I would be lost without them. The hearing test that Dr. Yoder administers is very thorough. I go back every four months for a check-up of the hearing aids. Anytime that there was a problem, she took care of it in a timely manor. I would recommend Hear Well to any of my friends. Not only do I think highly of Dr. Yoder but of her staff as well.
‘Is it time for Mom to get Hearing Aids?’ We began to notice when we would talk to our mother that she would often times look at the wrong person speaking sometimes and that some things had to be repeated and I found myself talking much louder than normal to her in person and on the phone. We noticed she could not hear the conversation when riding in the car in normal tones and could not hear the conversation when we went out to eat, thus missing out on the conversation and not participating in it. This all changed when she got her custom hearing aids from Dr. Suzanne Yoder at the HearWell Center, who spent an enormous amount of initial time testing, fitting and explaining everything for the entire hearing aid process, and then again when the hearing aids were ready, taking time to be sure mom was knowledgeable on her own to use them with confidence and ease. Dr. Yoder stressed that if any questions came up to let her know. Mom has had no trouble using them, cleaning them and changing the batteries. We noticed immediate improvement on the way home from Dr. Yoder’s office. Mom could hear our conversation in the car talking normally and she can now hear all of us at the table when we eat out and follow everyone’s conversation. The TV is no longer turned up as high. Makes you wonder how much she was missing before of the sounds around her.
